Ballynure based RGM Vent, part of RGM Holdings, has recently completed work worth c.£1m at Ireland's first Center Parcs holiday resort.

RGM Vent, was established in 2004 and provides bespoke ventilation solutions for the construction industry. The company currently employs 79 staff and utilises a strong network of sub-contractors across the UK, Ireland and more recently mainland Europe.

Raymond Murphy, Managing Director of RGM Vent, said “The Center Parcs project initially started out as a small €40,000 contract but due to the excellent service that RGM were delivering on site, our client asked us to complete the full ventilation installation for the entire resort. It has taken nine months from start to finish and is a project that we are extremely proud to have been involved with. Due to the professionalism of our staff on and off site we have been able to deliver on time and ahead of the official opening of the resort at the end of this month.

“I started the business in 2004 as a sole trader and today we have staff strategically placed across the UK and Ireland. In 2012 we adapted the business model to become a supply and fit contractor. I brought Maurice Grant onboard as my Business Partner and we have traded strongly and grown rapidly ever since.

“We have added three other divisions to RGM Holdings which are performing extremely well. One of those divisions has secured a ten-year British Government backed maintenance and installation contract that is going to be an important platform for the Group over the next number of years. Danske Bank have been very supportive of RGM Vent and that has enabled us to invest in our facility and secure large-scale contracts which we would have struggled to do without their continued support.”

He added: “We’re an ambitious company and are currently on target to achieve our largest turnover to date at the end of this financial year. We have recently procured our premises and carried out a full renovation to future proof our business growth and offer our clients the most professional services available in our sector.”

Julie Skelly, Business Manager at Danske Bank, said: “RGM Vent’s continued growth is a great success story. Raymond and his team have established a very successful company that continues to go from strength to strength. We’ve provided the support RGM Vent need to tender to larger contracts, safe in the knowledge there is working capital available as needed.

“The business has committed to investing in its staff and the firm’s purchase of new premises last year is a vote of confidence in the local area. Working across Great Britain and Ireland has helped the company expand at an accelerated pace and we look forward to contributing to their future successes.”
