JC Halliday & Sons has opened Northern Ireland’s only DS Store in Eglinton, creating four new jobs. The £750,000 investment was part supported by Danske Bank.
Award-winning Citroen & DS dealer, JC Halliday & Sons first started in 1967 and currently employs 28 staff across two sites in Eglinton and Magherafelt. The company currently holds the National Excellence award across each aspect of the business for 2016 & 2017.
The DS brand split from Citroen in 2014 and is recognisable by its distinctive styling and luxurious interiors.
Andrew Miller, Partner in JC Halliday & Sons in Eglinton, commented: “The opening of our DS Store Eglinton is a great moment for everyone at JC Halliday & Sons. We share the vision with DS Automobiles in the growing demand for premium and stylishly-distinctive new cars that reflect strongly on their owners’ status and vehicle aspirations. Our DS Store has a very different feel to a traditional car showroom with premium space for displays and attention-to-detail features that gives customers a truly unique car buying experience.
“We take the customer on an immersive journey that starts with a high-definition, life-sized 3D DS Virtual Reality experience where customers can experience what it is like to drive a DS car. This environment raises the bar of customer experience to a new level. We welcome everyone to come and see it for themselves and speak to one of our DS Expert Advisors.”
Lisa McKenna, Business Manager at Danske Bank, commented: “Both John and Andrew have years of experience in the car industry and this new luxury brand, the first DS store of its kind in Northern Ireland, is testament to the strength of their team delivering exceptional customer service.
“The new Store will offer consumers a luxurious range of vehicles and we’re delighted to help the business move forward with its ambitious growth plans.”
