A bit of background
Banking’s changing all the time, so we try to be flexible and agile to meet our customers’ needs.
We’re also proud of our diversity here and want to provide a welcoming workplace.
Because of that our recruitment process is quite thorough – as we want to make sure your skills and experience are well suited to your role - but it’s also fair, open and transparent.
Before you apply
Depending on the role you’re going for, we’ll ask you to upload your CV or fill out an application form.
It’s a good idea to read the Role Profile carefully so you know exactly what your job would involve.
It’ll help you think about why you want to apply and how you’re suited to the role.
When you’re talking about your experience, you might want to think of some specific times in your career that not only show us what you did, but how and why you did it.
Of course if you’ve any questions before you apply, please get in touch.
The selection process
This’ll depend on the role you’ve applied for. Once we’ve had a good look at your application and had a think about how well you’d be suited to the role, we’ll let you know if you’re moving to the next stage, and what’ll happen next.
If we make you an offer
Hopefully we’ll make you an offer.
If this happens, it’ll depend on us completing a few routine checks – this is normal for a bank. We’ll keep you posted with what we’re checking and why.
Just to let you know – we don’t accept unsolicited applications or speculative CVs - so please don’t send us any!

What our new recruits say
“I was looking for a well-structured professional programme that would give me the investment and opportunity to develop my skills and become successful in the workplace. The 'Achieve your Ambition' programme offered a diverse learning path that rewarded hard work and determination. Reading the job description I felt confident applying for a position that was not looking for the typical financial background, but instead encouraged individuals from other faculties to apply.”
Even if there’s nothing for you at the minute, we’re adding new jobs all the time, so please check back regularly or follow us on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn to hear about new opportunities.
