You may be unable to apply online if you have requested support during the Coronavirus outbreak and are currently making payments less than those outlined in your original mortgage agreement. We want to make sure you get our best mortgage for you so please contact us on the number below to arrange an appointment.

Apply online

You can use our online product switch if all the following points apply to you:

  • You want to remortgage using our online execution only service, which means you don’t want us to provide advice
  • You’re currently on our Fixed Rate residential mortgage which is due to end in the next 90 days OR your previous Fixed Rate residential mortgage ended within the last 180 days
  • You want to transfer your existing mortgage amount and term without any changes
  • The balance of your mortgage is £10,000 or more and the remaining term is 12 months or more
  • Your remaining mortgage is 95% of the property value or less
  • Your property is in the UK
  • You are making monthly repayments on a capital and interest basis
  • All payments are up to date

All you’ll need to access our online product switch service is your:

  • Mortgage account number (which you can find on eBanking or on your mortgage statement)
  • Property postcode
  • Surname
  • Date of birth

  • Any initial monthly repayment figures illustrated online may be subject to change and will be confirmed within the Product Transfer Offer letter

  • My current deal is ending and I want to remortgage, what do I need to do?

    Online

    If you meet the eligibility criteria above, you can use our online product switch service.

    Using our online system you can see what deals are available, compare rates and select your new deal. Once you’ve selected a new deal, your mortgage will change automatically on your switch date. If your switch date was in the last 180 days, the change will take effect immediately.

    For example, if your current fixed rate deal is due to end 1 September and you complete the online product switch before this date, your mortgage will switch automatically when your current deal ends on 1 September. However, if you complete the online product switch after 1 September, your new rate will be applied immediately.

    In Branch or on the Phone

    We know that the process can seem daunting, but we’re always on hand to help if you need a little advice.

    Our mortgage advisers will be happy to meet you and complete your remortgage face to face or over the phone. The choice is yours!

  • What happens when I apply using the online product switch service?

    Applying online is simple.

    You can compare our mortgage deals and see the full details of the deal you choose before accepting; this will include your mortgage illustration, offer document and General Offer Conditions. You should read these documents thoroughly before accepting to make sure you understand your new mortgage deal. Every party to the mortgage will receive a copy of the offer documentation by post when you complete the process.

    Once you’ve selected the deal you want, all you have to do is submit your choice and we’ll take care of the rest! Your mortgage will change to your new rate automatically on your switch date. If your switch date was in the last 180 days, the change will take effect immediately.

    For example, if your current fixed rate deal is due to end 1 September and you complete the online product switch before this date, your mortgage will switch automatically when your current deal ends on 1 September. However, if you complete the online product switch after 1 September, your new rate will be applied immediately.

  • Can I borrow more money when using the online product switch service?

    No. In this case you would need to talk to one of our mortgage advisers.

    If you would like to borrow more money, change your term or amend any other details about your mortgage, please give us a call on 0800 032 5501 to get a quote and discuss your options.

    We can then book you an appointment with one of our mortgage advisers to submit your application.

  • I'm moving house, can I use the online product switch service?
