Welcome to the Customer Protection Centre upload portal


Depending on whether we've asked you for details about your identity, address, tax or general business, we'll need different documents. You can see full details below.

Proof of Identity

We’ll try to confirm your identity and address electronically, but if we can’t we’ll ask you for proof of your identity and current residential address. This may also be required if you are a parent or guardian of a child under the age of 16 opening an account. You can find a list of acceptable documents below.

Please provide original documents for proof of identity (no photocopies). Acceptable examples include:

  • Valid passport
  • Valid UK Photo-Card Driving Licence (Full or Provisional) OR Valid ROI Photo-Card Driving Licence (Full)
  • Valid Northern Ireland Electoral Identity Card
  • Valid Department for Infrastructure/Translink Smartpass (Half Fare, 60+, or Senior)

Proof of Address

Please provide original documents for proof of address (no photocopies). Acceptable examples include:

  • Utility bill, dated within the last six months (gas, electricity, phone) - excludes mobile phone bills and store card statements
  • Land and Property Services bill or notice for the current year
  • Valid UK Photo-Card Driving Licence (Full or Provisional) - if not used for identity proof
  • Recent benefit entitlement proof, dated within the last six months (e.g., letter from Department for Communities, HMRC or Housing Executive)
  • Recent State Pension entitlement proof, dated within the last six months
  • Bank, building society, or credit union statement dated within the last six months - Danske Bank statements not accepted

Please contact us if you are unable to provide any of the above documents and we can discuss further.

  • Upload this document:

    • Most recent HMRC Tax Return form (SA100)

  • Upload one of these documents:

    • Financial accounts
    • Structure Charts
    • Further information on specific transactions
    • Rules or Constitutions for non-profit organisations
    • Trust deeds or subsequent amendments for Trusts/ Pension schemes

Before starting your upload process, you should ensure you have already saved your documents on your device and know where they are saved. You will need to locate them when using this service.

Once you have done that, please input the personal information requested and follow the instructions underneath this to successfully upload your documents.

Hints and tips for uploading

Files should be in one of the following formats:

For documents:
  • docx, doc, text, txt, xlsx, xls, pdf
For pictures:
  • jpeg, jpg, png, gif

Files shouldn't be more than 4MB in size and the file name shouldn't exceed 24 characters, including spaces.

You can search for your saved documents on your device by using the 'Browse' button below - you can upload one document at a time (this may take a few seconds). The name you have saved your document under will be the reference we see when you upload it. Once you're happy that you've attached the documents you want to upload please click 'Send'.

Remove The file you are trying to upload exceeds the maximum limit. Please try again with a smaller file size.
