Yes, you must complete a full switch using the Current Account Switch Service (CASS) to switch your old account to us. This means transferring any Direct Debits or other regular payments, and any automated credits to your new Danske Bank account. Your old bank account will be closed once the switch is complete.

No, you can either transfer in active direct debits when you switch in your old account or set up new direct debits. As long as you have 2 active direct debits within 60 days of your new account opening it doesn’t matter if they are new or transferred in.

Yes, the £1,000 can be paid into your new account in chunks, you do not have to do it all at once. Any balance that switches across with your old account also will count towards the £1,000.
