Sign up to hear from us via email or text when certain things happen. 

What we can do for you

  • Message from bank

    Message from bank

    You’ll hear from us whenever we send you a document (such as a statement or letter) via eBanking or our apps.

  • Account balance service

    Account balance service

    You can add several of these, whatever suits you. We’ll let you know when your account:

    • Dips below a certain balance (of your choice);
    • Goes above a certain balance;
    • Is credited by more than a certain amount;
    • Is debited by more than a certain amount.

    You can also ask us to tell you your balance on a given day of the week.

  • Insufficient funds

    Insufficient funds

    We’ll let you know when you don’t have enough in your account to cover an imminent payment. This gives you the chance to transfer money to your account and let the payment go ahead.

    (This only applies to payments you’ve set up yourself in eBanking).

  • SEPA Direct Debit

    SEPA Direct Debit

    We’ll tell you when you’ve received funds via the SEPA Direct Debit scheme.

How to sign up

  1. Log on to eBanking
  2. Select 'Mobile Services'
  3. Select 'Subscription service' (under ‘See also’)
  4. Select 'Subscribe' from the arrow to the left of the service you wish to register for.
  5. Choose the service you’d like to subscribe to:
    • Message from bank
    • Account balance service
    • Insufficient funds
    • SEPA Direct Debit
  6. Click on the arrow beside each option to subscribe or unsubscribe
  7. Choose whether you’d prefer to receive these by email or text (or in some cases, push notification).
