Accessibility Guide for ATMs

At Danske Bank, we want to make sure that everyone can use our cash machines easily. We added features that enhance readability and visibility to help customers with visual impairments.

Find all Danske Bank ATMs

Our ATMs have screens with bright colours and big letters that are easy to read. This helps everyone, especially those who have trouble seeing, to use our machines easily.

Danske Bank’s ATMs also offers a special accessibility feature known as Audio Lead Through. When activated, this changes the screen background to black and the text to yellow, enhancing contrast for visually impaired users. Additionally, it enables voice guidance for easier navigation. This feature is only available in some of our ATMs and to activate it, insert the headphones into the audio jack.

Voice guidance

Our ATMs can talk you through what to do, like taking out money or checking your balance. This feature makes sure everyone can use the machines on their own, even if reading the screen is hard.

Note that this feature doesn't work for making deposits without a card.

Braille button

On our keypads, the number 5 has a special raised dot, known as Braille, to help people who are visually impaired. It helps them find and press the right buttons for their banking tasks.

Privacy filters

Some of our ATMs have screens that keep your information private. Only the person standing right in front of the screen can see what's on it. This means your account details stay safe from others nearby. However, not all our ATMs have this feature.
