They are stored in your Electronic mailbox, which you can find in both eBanking and the Mobile Banking app.
eBanking:
Log on to eBanking.
Choose ‘Electronic mailbox & agreements’ in the top menu.
Click ‘Electronic mailbox’ under ‘Electronic Documents’.
Then pick ‘Go to Documents’. This will open another window.
You’ll see all your digital statements, and some other important information, with the newest at the top.
Mobile Banking app:
Log on to the Mobile Banking app.
Tap ‘Menu’.
Tap ‘Electronic mailbox’. This will open in a new window.
You’ll see all your digital statements, and some other important information, with the newest at the top. The ‘Index’ menu lets you filter them by type.
Anything you download will be a PDF.
Yes, you can do this as a spreadsheet (in CSV or XML format).
When you’re in eBanking, go to your account and adjust the time you want the overview to show, using the slider.
At the bottom of the list of transactions, click ‘Save as file’.
Choose the file format you want.
Click ‘Save’ and the file will download to your computer.
It depends when you signed up for digital statements.
If you asked for them when you opened your account, you’ll have all your account statements from the start. If you signed up for them at a later stage, you’ll only have the statements from that point.
All of them. This includes credit card statements but only if we have your email address. Without your email address, we have to send you paper statements for credit cards.
If you change your mind and want to switch to paper statements, phone us on 0345 600 2882.
eBanking:
Log on to eBanking and go to your Electronic mailbox.
Click on the statement you want to download. It will open in another window.
Pick either ‘download’ or ‘print’ in the top right hand corner.
You can also click ‘Information’ beside the statement name and choose ‘download’.
To download multiple statements at once:
Click on the ‘Choose’ drop down menu to ‘Select all’. A blue tick will appear beside each statement. Just untick any you don’t need to download.
Click the ‘Functions’ drop down menu and choose ‘Save local copy’.
Then, click ‘Save all’ as a zip folder.
Mobile Banking app
Log on to the Mobile Banking app and go to your Electronic mailbox.
Click on the statement you want to download.
It will go to your downloads folder. Your phone should ask you to open the download, but it may not.
You are limited to downloading a maximum of 25 statements at a time.
Yes. When you’re in your Electronic mailbox:
The ‘Functions’ drop down at the top of the page lets you:
Mark statements as read (or unread if you want to come back to them later).
Rename them.
Delete statements, although we do recommend keeping them just in case you might need them in the future.
If you click ‘Information’ beside each statement in the ‘Documents’ overview, you can add a note about the statement as a reminder.
You can change the time period to view your statements on a single page, choosing from the latest 12 months only, up to 60 months, or all available statements.
If you need a paper copy of a digital statement, you can:
Download it from eBanking or the Mobile Banking app and print it yourself.
Ask us to send you a copy by phoning 0345 600 2882. This will cost £3 and the statement may take up to 10 days to arrive.
If you already get paper statements but want an extra copy of one you’ve already got, call us on 0345 600 2882. This costs £3 for each statement.
If you need a statement urgently, call into a branch with photo ID. We can print them for you, for the same £3 fee for each printout.
You may want a list of all your recent transactions for legal or tax purposes. We can post this to you, for £3 for each statement.
Yes, we can, if your Electronic mailbox knows your email address. Even if you think we might already have your email address, it needs added to the Electronic mailbox separately. Here’s how to check or add yours:
eBanking:
Log on to eBanking and select ‘Electronic mailbox & agreements’ in the top menu.
Select ‘Electronic mailbox’ under ‘Electronic Documents’.

Select ‘Settings’ from the top menu and choose the document types you want alerts for.
Enter your email address and click ‘Save’.
Mobile Banking app:
After you’ve logged on, tap the ‘Menu’ icon at the bottom of the screen.
Tap ‘Electronic mailbox’ and your mailbox will open in another window.
Tap ‘Menu’ at the top of the screen and choose ‘Settings’.
Select the document types you want alerts for, enter your email address and click ‘Save’.
