Technical Failure

*Our estimated exchange rates are based on the latest Mastercard exchange rate at the time you use the calculator. They include any non-sterling transaction fee that applies to your transaction (currently 2.75%). The exchange rate and fee that will show on your statement may be different from the estimate because they depend on the exchange rate and fees that apply on the date we process your transaction.

The non-sterling transaction fee does not apply to transactions on the following current accounts: Danske Choice Plus, Danske Prestige, Danske Reward, Danske Freedom, Danske Discovery.

ECB foreign exchange reference rates

The European Central Bank (ECB) publishes reference exchange rates for the following European currencies once a day:

Czech koruna (CZK) Danish krone (DKK)
Euro (EUR) Hungarian forint (HUF)
Icelandic króna (ISK) Norwegian krone (NOK)
Polish złoty (PLN) Romanian leu (RON)
Swedish krona (SEK) Swiss franc (CHF)

These reference rates are published for information purposes only. They are not intended to be used in market transactions or for converting currencies when you make payments or cash withdrawals.

Mastercard Exchange Rates

Mastercard sets the exchange rates that are used when you pay or withdraw cash in a currency other than sterling (GBP) with your Mastercard debit or credit card. These rates are used to convert the foreign currency amount into sterling.

The calculator shows an estimate based on the most recent Mastercard exchange rate available when you use it. The rate that actually applies to your transaction may be different, and is the Danske Bank Card Exchange Rate (UK) in place on the date your transaction is processed. The final rate will be shown on your statement.
