We may contact you from time to time to understand payments on your account. We may ask for further information to verify your identity or that of your business and we may ask for documents to support what you’ve told us.
Customer Protection Centre
Keeping our customers’ information up to date
Who we are
The Customer Protection Centre is made up of a team of local advisers, here to keep you and your Danske Bank accounts safe.
When you might hear from us
It’s really important that we understand your banking needs – there are regulatory reasons for this. This might include what you use Danske Bank for and the purpose of certain payments on your account. We may need your help to understand this from time to time. This helps us meet your banking needs and protect you from financial crime. We may also ask for information to verify your identity or that of your business.
Remember, we’ll never:
- ask you for your login details or passwords.
- ask you to transfer money to keep it safe.
Visit our Security page for more guidance and tips.
It’s important for us to prevent financial crime so we can protect our customers, and the Bank.
We must comply with financial crime regulations (both in the UK and Denmark) to fight money laundering and fraud.
This means that we need to know how you use your account, and we’ll monitor your transactions. To help with this, sometimes we’ll ask you for more information about your account.
