Vote for this year’s Christmas Charity Gift
As a local bank we are committed to supporting local communities in Northern Ireland. Our yearly Christmas Charity Gift initiative is just one of the ways we give back, and this year we will be donating Christmas gifts, totalling £12,000, to local charities.
In 2018 Almost Home, an animal rescue charity based in Moira, was the overall winner. Four other charities – Air Ambulance NI, Alzheimer’s Society NI, Foyle Search & Rescue and NI Children’s Hospice – also received a donation.
This year our colleagues have put forward the five charities below and you can now vote for your preferred charity – click on the charity’s name to learn more.
All five shortlisted charities will receive a gift in time for Christmas. The winning charity, with the most votes, will be awarded £5,000, with second and third receiving £3,000 and £2,000 respectively. Fourth and fifth place will be given £1,000.
You can only vote once and voting closes at 3pm on Thursday 28 November.
Congratulations to our overall winner
Cancer Fund for Children will be receiving £5,000 in time for Christmas!
As Northern Ireland’s leading children’s cancer charity, Cancer Fund for Children supports children and young people diagnosed with cancer or living with a parent diagnosed with cancer. They do this by providing practical, financial and emotional support, as well as free therapeutic short breaks to children, young people and their families.
Marie Curie NI and Dementia NI came 2nd and 3rd, and will receive £3,000 and £2,000 respectively.
In the spirit of Christmas, we’ll also be donating £1,000 to TinyLife and NI Chest Heart and Stroke.
