Changes to Interest Rates
Bank of England bank rate
On 6 February 2025, the Bank of England announced a decrease in the Bank of England bank rate from 4.75% to 4.50%.
Danske Bank Reference Rate (UK)
On 6 February 2025, Danske Bank announced a decrease to the Danske Bank Reference Rate (UK) from 4.75% to 4.50%.
These changes will apply to accounts where the interest reference rate is either the Bank of England bank rate or Danske Bank Reference Rate (UK) from 7 February 2025.
Danske Bank Standard Variable Rate (UK) and Danske Bank Re:pay Rate (UK)
On 6 February 2025, Danske Bank announced a decrease to the following interest reference rates;
Danske Bank Standard Variable Rate (UK) | from 6.75% to 6.60% |
Danske Bank Re:pay Rate (UK) | from 5.94% to 5.79% |
Danske Bank Re:pay Rate (UK) - original loan amount of £50,000 - £99,999 | from 5.94% to 5.79% |
Danske Bank Re:pay Rate (UK) - original loan amount of £100,000 - £149,999 | from 5.69% to 5.54% |
Danske Bank Re:pay Rate (UK) - original loan amount of £150,000 and over | from 5.39% to 5.24% |
These changes will apply to accounts where the interest reference rate is either the Danske Bank Standard Variable Rate (UK), or Danske Bank Re:pay Rate (UK), from 3 March 2025.
