Our social media policy
Our social media pages help us share news and important service updates. They also allow us to hear directly from you.
You can find us on Facebook, X , LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube
We aim to reply to questions on Facebook and X as quickly as possible.
Our team is available:
- Monday to Friday: 8am-6pm
- Saturday: 9am-1pm
We do not monitor our channels on Sundays. We will respond to any messages received outside these hours when we are back online.
If you have an emergency, such as a lost or stolen card or suspected fraud, please call our 24 hour numbers.
Our LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube channels are used to share news and updates only. These are not customer service channels, and they will not be monitored during the hours mentioned above.
In some cases, we may need to talk to you offline. For your security, we will ask you to send us a private message so we can arrange a phone call.
Keep yourself safe
Never share personal or sensitive information about your bank account on any of our pages, or on your own social media or messaging channels.
Our social media channels are public. That means anyone can see your comments and they may appear in search engine results. Please be careful about what you share.
We welcome questions, comments and constructive feedback. We ask all users to treat others with respect. Posts containing personal abuse, offensive content or unlawful activity will be removed.
We may remove comments or posts that:
- include offensive, threatening, abusive or obscene language or content, including profanity or derogatory terms.
- are not relevant to our page or the post shared.
- promote harmful or dangerous activities.
- include illegal or unlawful content.
- breach copyright or licence agreements.
- contain names or personal information about Danske Bank staff.
- are spam or promote unrelated products or services.
We reserve the right to remove any content that does not follow these guidelines. Users who repeatedly breach them will be blocked from our pages.
We value your views and opinions. Please remember these are open channels and comments from other users do not necessarily reflect the views of Danske Bank.
