To set it up

Phone 6/6+ and later

1. Open Wallet
2. Click ‘+’ in the top right hand corner
3. Use your camera to capture your card – or enter the card details manually
4. Enter the expiry date and the three-digit security code on the back of your card
5. Accept the terms and conditions
6. Enter the 6 digit code we’ve texted you.

Apple Watch

1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and tap ‘Wallet & Apple Pay’
2. Select ‘Add a new Credit or Debit Card’
3. Enter your card’s three-digit security code (on the back of the card) to add your credit or debit card from your iTunes account.

To add a different card, use your camera to enter the card information, or type it in manually.

iPad

1. Go to ‘Wallet & Apple Pay’ under Settings
2. Tap ‘Add Credit or Debit Card’
3. Use your camera to capture your card – or enter the card details manually
4. Enter the expiry date and the three-digit security code on the back of your card
5. Accept the terms and conditions
6. Enter the 6 digit code we’ve texted you.

To use it

Phone 6/6+ and later

1. Open Wallet
2. From the cards you’ve saved, tap the one you want to pay with
3. If you change your mind and want to choose a different card, swipe down to put the current card back in your wallet, then pick another one
4. Hold your finger over your Touch ID reader and tap your phone where you’d usually tap your card. The usual £100 contactless limit doesn’t apply to Apple Pay – another reason to use it!

Apple Watch

1. Double click the side button
2. Swipe through the cards in your wallet
3. Select the one you want to use
4. Tap your watch where you’d usually tap your card.

iPad

Although most iPad models don’t support contactless payments in-store, you can use Apple Pay to buy things online without having to manually key in all your details each time.

Just use Touch ID when you’re prompted at checkout and all your information should be entered automatically.
