Safe Custody wallet
Keep important documents safe, secure and private at one of our branches.

Please note, we will provide you with a wallet, at no extra charge, to store your items in or if you prefer, you can provide your own.
Safe Custody box
Suitable for storing jewellery or other small valuables.

| Small Box (No bigger than 24cm by 30cm by 9cm) | £100 plus VAT per annum |
| Large box (No bigger than 24cm by 44cm by 30 cm) | £140 plus VAT per annum |
| Oversized item (Any item larger than a large box) | £240 plus VAT per annum |
You may either provide your own Small or Large box, or you can purchase one from us.
Small boxes are priced at £15 plus VAT and Large Boxes are priced at £40 plus VAT.
You can access each item once per calendar month without charge. For each additional access within the calendar month there will be a charge of £10 plus VAT.
Access to your Safe Custody items
You can access your items during our normal branch opening hours. Please contact your branch to arrange a suitable time.
Eligibility
To use the Danske Safe Custody Service you need to:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Resident in Northern Ireland
- Be an existing Danske Bank customer, with a current account active for at least 30 days.
Things to keep in mind
Although the Danske Safe Custody Service offers protection and peace of mind, please make sure your valuables are properly insured to their full value.
You can only store items that belong to you.
Items that are suitable for Safe Custody
- Business documents
- Stamp or rare coin collections
- Jewellery
- Important contracts and business papers
Avoid storing items that require specific storage conditions or that you might need at short notice or in an emergency, like:
- passports
- medical directives
Items you must not store in Safe Custody:
- Cash
- Weapons
