A District password contains four digits. The digits must not be the same or in order, for example 4444 or 2345. When you change your password, it is not possible to choose the same password as your current one.

You change your password in District:

• Log on to District
• Choose Profile & Settings from the top right of the menu bar
• Choose Profile and then Security
• Click on the Change password button
• Enter your current password
• Enter a new password, retype the new password again to confirm and click OK
• Your password has now been changed and you must use this new password when you next log on to District

We recommend that you change your password regularly – or if you suspect that someone else knows it.

You need to enter your user ID and a temporary PIN before you can set your personal password.

When you order a new temporary PIN, we will send it to you in a letter.

Set your personal password

• Click to enter logon details
• Enter User ID and temporary PIN and click 'Continue'
  
  
  
• Follow the instructions on the page and set new password
  
• You have now successfully activated your new password.
  
  
• Click ‘Continue to Log on’, and you are ready to log on to District.

If you have forgotten your password for District, you must order a new temporary PIN.

If you're an Administrator, you can order a new, temporary PIN in the following ways:

1. Log on to District
2. Select ‘Administration’ in the left hand menu
3. Click the drop down arrow to the left of the User name you wish to order a temporary PIN for
4. Select ‘Order new logon’
5. Tick the tick box beside the Order temporary PIN option and the select whether you wish the temporary PIN to be sent by Text message or Letter. Please note that a mobile number must be held under Profile in order to use the Text message option.

Unfortunately, you cannot order a new, temporary PIN by e-mail.
