Changes to certification of documents

Since the launch of the Online system we have been taking on board your feedback and we are delighted to advise that Certification of Documents issued to ourselves is no longer required for Online cases.

This is subject to the following:

  • All documentation is uploaded onto the Online system and is not forwarded on paper / email
  • You have reviewed the documentation provided and are satisfied that there are no anomalies

There is 1 exception - this is when documentation is required for the purposes of confirming identity, if Identification and proof of address documentation are required, the requirements for certification remain as per the existing procedures.
