Danske Bank has appointed Legal Marketing Services Limited (LMS), a conveyancing panel management specialist, to coordinate the legal work for our remortgages.
Fees assisted remortgage - Danske Bank offers fees assisted remortgages. That means we pay most of the legal fees for the remortgage, including:
- Standard legal fees
- Land registry search fees
- Land registry registration fees
Additional fees - In some cases, it may be necessary for the law firm appointed by LMS to carry out additional services, which will incur additional fees. These fees are payable by the customer.

Danske Bank may use credit reference and fraud prevention agencies to help them make decisions. What they do and how they and credit reference and fraud prevention agencies will use the customer's data is detailed in the leaflet called 'A guide to how we and credit reference and fraud prevention agencies use your personal information' (part of Danske Bank's customer information document). You confirm that you have the customer's agreement that Danske Bank may use this information in this way. Danske Bank store and process information about the customer in the ways set out in their How we use your personal and business information leaflet.

The Direct Debit Guarantee
- This Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits
- If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit, Danske Bank will notify you ten working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed. If you request Danske Bank to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request.
- If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by Danske Bank or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society. If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when Danske Bank asks you to.
- You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify us.
