We may contact you by SMS during the account opening process to confirm your account is open and ready for use and to remind you to make the minimum deposit within 14 days, if you haven't already done so. If you are unable to provide a mobile number we will be unable to do this. If you are a new Danske Bank customer with no other accounts with us, please make your minimum deposit of £2,000 2-3 days after you return your signed customer agreement.

eBanking & Statements
When you ask for eBanking you will be issued with an Electronic Signature. This consists of a User ID, a password (that you choose) and the code from your Access ID card (a card with security codes). You can use your Electronic Signature in eBanking as follows:
- you can check the balance in your account
- you can make payments out of your account
- you can set up regular payments out of your account
- You have the option to receive statements and other documents in electronic form
You will also be able to use your Electronic Signature to access your account using the services of Third Party Providers (TPPs). You can read more about TPPs in the 'General Terms and Conditions - Personal' at Clauses 5.5.9 and 8. You can find more information about TPPs on our website at danskebank.co.uk/psd2ob.
Mobile and Tablet Banking
You must be registered for and have logged on to eBanking using your Access ID to be able to use Danske Mobile Bank, Danske Tablet Bank and Apple Watch Apps. Danske Mobile Bank App is available on iOS and Android devices and Windows Phones. Danske Tablet Bank App is available for Android and iOS devices. Payments made outside the UK are governed by the law that applies where the payment is made.
To use Paym, you need to download the Danske Mobile Bank App and to register your mobile phone. Paym is a registered trademark and is used under licence from the Mobile Payments Service Company Ltd.
eBanking, Mobile Banking and Tablet Banking may be temporarily unavailable when we are carrying out routine maintenance.
We will never contact you to ask for your eBanking User ID, password or security details by phone or email under any circumstances.
We will provide you with a statement by posting it to you at the address that you have provided. However, if you have eBanking or have requested eBanking as an additional service, you can opt to have your statements and other documents made available via Electronic Mailbox.
