Changes to Interest Rates

Bank of England bank rate

On 19 March 2020, the Bank of England announced a decrease in the Bank of England bank rate from 0.25% to 0.10%.

Danske Bank Reference Rate (UK)

On 19 March 2020, Danske Bank announced a decrease to the Danske Bank Reference Rate (UK) from 0.25% to 0.10%.

These changes will apply to accounts where the interest reference rate is either the Bank of England bank rate or Danske Bank Reference Rate (UK) from 20 March 2020


Danske Bank Standard Variable Rate (UK) and Danske Bank Re:pay Rate (UK)

On 20 March 2020, Danske Bank announced a decrease to the following interest reference rates;

Danske Bank Standard Variable Rate (UK) from 4.95% to 4.30%
Danske Bank Re:pay Rate (UK) from 4.14% to 3.49%
Danske Bank Re:pay Rate (UK) - original loan amount of £50,000 - £99,999 from 4.14% to 3.49%
Danske Bank Re:pay Rate (UK) - original loan amount of £100,000 - £149,999 from 3.89% to 3.24%
Danske Bank Re:pay Rate (UK) - original loan amount of £150,000 and over from 3.59% to 2.94%

These changes will apply to accounts where the interest reference rate is either the Danske Bank Standard Variable Rate (UK), or Danske Bank Re:pay Rate (UK), from 1 April 2020. These rates supersede any rates communicated on 16 March 2020.
